Endorsements & Attack Ads
Beyond your own campaigning, two mechanics let other players affect a race directly.
Endorsements
A party can grant an endorsement to one of its candidates, adding a momentum bonus on top of what the candidate earns themselves. Endorsement bonuses are capped in total, so a party can't stack unlimited momentum onto a single candidate — see Party Treasury & War Chest Operations for how parties fund this.
Attack ads
A candidate can spend CC to run an attack ad against a specific rival in the same race. This costs CC and can knock down the target's scandal rating or momentum — but scandal effects fade over time, decaying faster than momentum builds, so a single attack rarely swings a race on its own.
Where this fits together
Endorsements and attack ads both draw on the same Citizen Capital economy as regular campaign actions — budget accordingly if you're running a tight race close to the cycle deadline.
